Counselling
When you need to talk through complicated and painful feelings?
When you need somewhere to be authentic, to let everything out - a break from trying to be OK.
Grief, for many is overwhelming, confusing, or even numbing, it can be full of anger, or confusion — and it’s different for everyone. I offer a gentle, supportive space where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay. Whether you’re grieving the death of someone close, the end of a relationship, or another kind of loss, we can take time to sit with what’s really going on for you. I won’t rush or try to fix it. Instead, I’ll be alongside you as you make sense of your experience, at your pace, helping you feel a little less alone and gradually more grounded in life again.
Anxiety can feel like being constantly on edge — thoughts racing, body tense, or a heavy sense that something’s wrong. It’s exhausting trying to keep it all under control. Together, we can explore what might be behind the anxiety, without judgement. We’ll look at the ways you’ve been trying to cope and gently explore other ways to feel safer and more at ease. You don’t have to push through or pretend you’re fine — we’ll go slowly, with care, and find ways to soothe the stress and reconnect with a sense of calm and balance.

When depression takes hold, it can feel like a heavy weight pressing down, making it hard to find motivation or hope. It’s common to be harsh on yourself during these times, feeling stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts. In our work together, there’s space to be gentle with yourself and to understand these feelings without judgement. We’ll explore ways to ease that inner struggle and nurture a kinder relationship with yourself. Step by step, with patience and care, you can find moments of light and begin to reconnect with what matters to you.
If you experience the world differently — whether you're diagnosed, self-identifying, or simply unsure — you deserve support that honours your experience. You might feel worn down by masking, misunderstood by others, or overwhelmed by day-to-day life. In therapy, you won’t be asked to change who you are. Instead, we’ll explore what helps you feel safe, seen, and understood. We’ll work together to ease self-doubt, soften self-criticism, and build more trust in your ways of being. You’re not broken — you’ve been trying hard in a world that hasn’t always met you with care. Here, you don’t have to try so hard.
counselling can be one session or long term
It’s really hard when that inner voice is always telling you you’re not good enough. Maybe you find yourself second-guessing everything, hiding parts of yourself, or feeling like you don’t really belong. These patterns often come from ways you’ve learned to protect yourself. In therapy, we’ll take a kind, honest look at how these beliefs formed — and why they make so much sense. Over time, we’ll work on building a more compassionate relationship with yourself, one that doesn’t rely on perfection or pleasing others. You deserve to feel safe in who you are, just as you are.
Anger is often seen as something to get rid of — but it usually shows up for a reason. Maybe it’s been building up quietly for years, or maybe it feels loud and hard to control. Sometimes it hides deeper feelings like hurt, fear, or shame. In therapy, there’s space to look at what your anger might be trying to protect or express. We won’t judge it — we’ll understand it. Together, we can find safer, more compassionate ways to respond to what’s underneath, so you feel more in control without having to push your feelings away.
